Weaving Artistry with Activism
Impact has never been measured solely by numbers for me. It has been measured by conversations that sparked new ideas, classrooms that became communities, families who felt supported, and spaces where people discovered something meaningful about themselves. Every season of my work has been rooted in education because I believe learning has the power to transform both individuals and communities. That belief has carried me into military installations, wellness studios, public health initiatives, community gardens, nonprofit partnerships, and classrooms throughout coastal Georgia.
From facilitating the Army's Pregnancy and Postpartum Performance Training (P3T) program at Fort Stewart to teaching perinatal and children's yoga at Alma Collective Studio, I have had the privilege of creating environments where movement, education, and connection come together. Beyond those spaces, my work has included maternal health outreach, public health education, donation drives, volunteer service, wellness programming, and collaborative community initiatives.
Village Building
With roots in Florida, we’ve partnered with Doula Cherise of Soul Sista Birth Services community Doula program to provide virtual Perinatal Yoga and Childbirth Education classes at no cost to Florida Medicaid clients. These offerings continue to expand, with our Perinatal Yoga classes experiencing steady growth and increasing community engagement.
Every experience has strengthened the foundation of the work I continue today. The programs may change, the partnerships may evolve, and the classrooms may look different, but the mission remains the same: to cultivate healthier communities through education, creativity, and meaningful human connection. This page is a collection of those moments, partnerships, and projects that continue to shape both my work and the communities I have the privilege to support.
The Work in Full Bloom
Years of teaching, community work, and supporting families have shaped the work I continue to cultivate today. What began through in-person experiences continues to grow through education, creative practice, and offerings designed to support people through meaningful seasons of life.
